Homeless to Harvard

I thought this film was quite inspiring. It really made me think about how luck I am to have such easy access to education and how I should take advantage of it. My favorite part is right when she decides she needs to go to school. She is so determined to get into school that she is willing to stay there and be really persistant about it. I don't know if I would be the same as she was. I have never been placed in a situation like that so I wouldn;t know. I would like to think I would be as resilient as her, but that probably wouldn't be the case.

  2. what you said about the situation is very true. It really does make us see how lucky we are to have the homes we do, and the education we do. A lot of people take advantage of it when there are people like Liz who can do so much good.

  3. Ha, we had the same favorite part. You are correct though, sometimes we take things for granted that we shouldn't and being able to receive free high school education is one of those things.

  4. now that you mention it, it does make me think how easy an access to school I have, though before here I might as well have been out of school.
