Over Thanksgiving break I don't plan on doing much except some homework and spending time with family and friends (kinda the point of a break haha). On Thanksgiving I will probably spend some time with my family and just enjoy their company. I think the most fun thing that I will do this Thanksgiving is me and some of my close friends have planned a "family dinner". I love spending time with them and its a great way to remind yourself to not only spend time with your biological family, but the people you choose to be your family as well! I'm really excited to have this much needed time off to refresh and relax.

Jobs for Students
While looking for jobs for students, You must consider many different factors that go into looking for the perfect job to fit a student's schedule. So, with school and homework, students need jobs that allow them to be flexible with their shifts and work part time. Most jobs available for students are in food or retail because they are expendable positions and don't require much skill to preform. Jobs like working at a fast food resteraunt or at a store in the mall are best for students because they are flexible and easy. It isn't very hard to find a job around you for students. There are plenty of job opportunities for teenagers all the time, the hard part is getting the job. At an interview for a job you should always look very proffessional and clean, you should show off all of your manners and reasons why you think they should hire you. Make sure to come prepared with everything you need (most importantly your resume) and present yourself in a honorable manner. It's not that hard to ge a job, it is all about how you make it. When the process is done it is incredibly satisfying to know you are desired in the work force and is the first step to finding out your actual career.

Homeless to Harvard
I thought this film was quite inspiring. It really made me think about how luck I am to have such easy access to education and how I should take advantage of it. My favorite part is right when she decides she needs to go to school. She is so determined to get into school that she is willing to stay there and be really persistant about it. I don't know if I would be the same as she was. I have never been placed in a situation like that so I wouldn;t know. I would like to think I would be as resilient as her, but that probably wouldn't be the case.
